MELVIN JOINS FRANKLY CONSULTING

CHESTER, N.J., July 12, 2001 ...Valerie Melvin, a sport and exercise psychologist, has joined Frankly Consulting, a golf industry consulting firm with a multi faceted and innovative mission.

A native of Scotland and having played golf for her country, Melvin is the former editor of Golf Science International, a publication of the World Scientific Congress of Golf Trust, St Andrews, funded by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club and the United States Golf Association. She is an accomplished freelance golf writer with credits in major international golf publications. Founded by former USGA Technical Director Frank Thomas, Frankly Consulting has three primary areas of concentration: improvement of physical and mental fitness to enhance golf performance, development of new and exciting product systems and consultation services that will benefit the game of golf. Melvin will add an extra dimension to the Frankly team and contribute her knowledge in all elements of the operation.
