An Impulse Moment in Boston Turns Into a Two Year Love Affair

Folks at Frankly Golf,

I happened upon a demo area of yours at the Boston Golf Expo two springs ago - just for the heck of it I stepped up on the platform, grabbed a putter and hit a few balls... made 7 out of 10 putts. Now, I am not an impulse-type buyer but, I loved the way the putter worked and feeling a need to replace a 20-year-old Plop Putter in my bag - I bought a black Frankly Frog putter and went home wondering if I had been taken (surely the practice putting area had hidden grove that lead the ball right to the cup)  LOL !

Two years later I can safely say that I made the right move - I love my Frankly Frog putter. I roll the ball better than I ever have and I simply make more putts.

Cart Boy

Hey, I am Cart Boy and I live in the PAD. To some my story would seem tragic, but I prefer to view it as a story of survival and beating the odds.

I lived a happy life with my owner until the fateful day that I was sitting on his knees in the cart and we turned a corner and I slid onto the cart path. At exactly the same time another cart was passing in the opposite direction....luckily I can't remember much about what happened next.

I woke in Frog Creation back at the PAD where I was born, and found out that my shaft had been broken in two and I had scars all over my face.

Thanks to the dedication of the PAD staff, I had my shaft replaced and I feel much better. I decided to stay here because its nice having the other Frogs around as I recover. I have developed a fear of carts (when I hear one drive past the PAD I start to shake) but its getting better every day.

We are so proud to have you here at the PAD as you recover from what can only be described as a traumatic experience. You are an inspiration to others and we appreciate you telling your story so that other Frogs can recognize the dangers of their profession and owners can be a little more careful!

Frog Plays With Rock Legend

Hello my name is Alice and I am a black center shafted Frog that my owner chose because of my dark and mysterious persona. It really was a match made at the PAD as my owner was getting ready to golf with the legend Alice Cooper but Tiffany (her pink graphite center shafted Frog) was not matching her outfit!  I appeared and saved the day and have remained in the bag ever since.

Frog Pens Poem to PAD

Rankly Frog is my name
I love to play this game
Putting is my favorite part
As well as riding in the cart

I help my owner lower her score
No three putts any more
She is great with me, the Froggy flatstick
Every time I do the trick

She loves to hear the ball rattle in the hole
A noise that fills my soul
With joy, pride and delight
Knowing that I have done it right

I miss the PAD but out here I am a bit of a star
Helping my owner get under par
I’ve met a few Frogs out and about
And they are doing well, there’s no doubt!

Well, we can't match your poetic genius, but it just shows the hidden talents of many of our fellow Frogs! I remember you as a youngster at the PAD, with the grip covering the "F" of your name: who would have know that you would go on to achieve such great things. You always were helpful and aimed to please and it looks like you have found your place in the sun. Well done. Ooops...that rhymed....maybe we all have some poetic genius, and its just a case of finding it.

Pennsylvania Frog Plays Starring Role in Career Round

Dear PAD,
I arrived at my new pad in Central PA in the Xmas of 2010.  My new owner was able to maintain a 4 handicap for 4 weeks for the first time.   He also shot a career round of 69….the first time he was under par for 18 holes. We also won the league title this year.

The Adventures of Young Frankie in California & Hawaii

Hi!

I go by the name of "Young Frankie", a name given me by the golfer in northern California who adopted me in May of 2010.  I think he adopted me because I'm left handed, just like him, and we get along great.  I come from the "Frank '08" side of the family and my center shaft keeps me well balanced while I'm playing - a great combination along with the smooth, mellow attitude I've developed since moving from the Putting PAD to the San Francisco bay area.  Even though I love to play, I behave myself (I hardly ever get selfish and make 3 putts!) so "the boss" has taken me to play in many pretty places in California and Hawaii.  Since teaming up with him my average putts per green is only 1.6 which is a good thing because his long game needs a lot of work - I just hope he doesn't decide to start making me play off the tee!

Thanks so much for sharing your story and pictures with us and fellow Frogs from around the world! It looks like you have been having a great time and are being very well looked after. The Frogs here at the PAD especially liked the picture of you on vacation in Hawaii, and love the putting green you have at your home PAD. Sounds like you are being very well behaved.
